| 17 year old young man with nasal stuffiness and left-sided facial pain was found to harbor an enhancing mass lesion centered on the deep left face and maxillary sinus with associated bone destruction and remodeling. The clinical circumstances and imaging findings (arrowheads) were most compatible with a juvenile nasal angiofibroma, an highly vascular and locally invasive tumor. Prior to surgical resection, transarterial embolization was performed to devascularize the tumor and limit blood loss at surgery. |
